3Ready Automotive & Content Bundle shortlisted for the 2026 DEG EnTech Awards

Being shortlisted for the 2026 DEG EnTech Awards in the Audience Engagement Technology category is exciting for many reasons, but perhaps most of all because it reflects a shift that has been taking place across the industry.

For years, entertainment experiences have been designed primarily around the living room. Operators, content providers and technology partners have invested heavily in helping viewers discover, access and enjoy content on the biggest screen in the home.

Today, those experiences are expanding beyond the TV. Consumers move between devices throughout the day, and the challenge for the industry is no longer simply delivering content. It is finding new ways to extend meaningful entertainment experiences beyond the traditional TV environment.

One of those opportunities is the connected vehicle. As vehicles become increasingly connected, the car is opening up as a new environment for digital entertainment. At the same time, bringing content and services into the vehicle comes with a very different set of requirements than bringing them to the living room.

This is the challenge behind 3Ready Automotive & Content Bundle. Rather than treating the car as a completely separate entertainment environment, we see an opportunity for it to become part of the broader digital entertainment ecosystem, bringing together OEMs, content providers, operators and technology partners.

With 3Ready Automotive & Content Bundle, we are working to bridge the gap between the living room and the vehicle through premium content experiences, our partner ecosystem and the 3Ready platform. The goal is not simply to bring more apps into the car, but to create entertainment experiences that feel at home in this new environment.

That is also why being shortlisted in the Audience Engagement Technology category feels particularly meaningful to us. It connects directly with what we are working towards: making the connected vehicle a meaningful part of the digital entertainment ecosystem.
