Brian Jentz Joins 3SS to Spearhead Growth in the Americas

‍Stuttgart, Germany – 13 September, 2021 - 3 Screen Solutions (3SS), leading provider of software solutions for set-top boxes (STB) and multiscreen entertainment, today announces the appointment of Brian Jentz as Vice President Americas at 3SS.

From his Midwest base in Indiana, Jentz will spearhead 3SS’ commercial growth strategy in the USA, Canada and across Latin America. Jentz’ appointment sees him lead 3SS expansion strategy in North and South America. Jentz brings a wealth of experience to 3SS, most recently serving as Vice President, Video Product Unit at Technicolor.  

3SS has expanded its footprint in the Americas in recent times; in April 2021, FreeCast Inc. selected 3SS to transform the user experience (UX) of its all-OTT aggregated consumer platform, SelectTV. In May 2021, 3SS delivered the innovative next-gen TCC VIVO-ZetaTV platform for TCC for customers in Uruguay and Argentina. A number of other sizeable deployments in the Americas region will shortly be announced.

About Brian Jentz

Jentz has spent the last seven years at Technicolor, joining in 2014 as Senior Director, Product Management. During his time at the company, he was Vice President of Video Product Unit within the $2 billion Connected Home Division. He was responsible for product management, product marketing, and business development.

From 2000 to 2013, Jentz worked with video technology provider Altera in roles in which he was responsible for video, broadcast, industrial and automotive product lines. He had full P&L responsibility, including growth strategies, product management and marketing, product planning, MRD/PRD, pricing, business development, and systems engineering.  

Earlier in his career Jentz held sales, marketing and applications engineering positions at Texas Instruments and engineering roles at the Naval Air Warfare Center, which supports R&D, engineering, test, evaluation and sustainment of Navy and Marine Corps aircraft.

Jentz holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
